Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical information when a page loads:
- Page-view dates and times
- Your device's assigned IP address
- The referring site, when available
- Browser name and version
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Operating system and device category
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand traffic patterns, such as popular pages and common exit points. Browser controls can block cookies, though disabling them may change how some site functions behave.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site provides general directions to New Mexico sources, including the New Mexico DPS Law Enforcement Records Bureau, New Mexico Corrections Department, New Mexico DPS Sex Offender Registry, state courts, and agencies across all 33 counties. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not compiled into a consumer report or a third-party criminal record.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the site's search boxes. A partner's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices apply to information submitted through its tool. We do not control those terms, so review the provider's policy before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to New Mexico agencies, courts, county offices, legal-aid organizations, or commercial search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers use their own systems to track activity across websites for targeted advertising. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may be available to these limited recipients:
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
- Advertising networks that serve ads on the site
- Search providers that process a query you submit
- Analytics providers that measure use and performance
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard safeguards for the information we collect. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor provided such information, we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Rights may differ based on where you live and which law applies. The New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, §§14-2-1 through 14-2-12 NMSA 1978, governs access to records held by New Mexico public bodies, not data held by this private site. State criminal-history dissemination is separately controlled by §§29-10-1 through 29-10-8 NMSA 1978. Subject to applicable law, you may:
